During the WNBA offseason, Angel Reese has kept a high profile, not afraid to be in the spotlight. The Chicago Sky forward has been seen at various NBA games, including the Orlando Magic’s match against the Boston Celtics, where she met Real Madrid star Vinicius Jr.

Vinicius Jr. shared a picture with Reese on his Instagram, along with other photos from his visit to Miami. Reese responded with two heart emojis, leading to a buzz among fans on social media.

The interaction sparked numerous comments like “This crossover omggg,” “Please have Vini on your podcast, Angel,” and “Two of my favorites.” The post on X (formerly Twitter) featuring the photo gained over 1.7K reposts and 40K likes, while the original Instagram post has over 2.5 million likes.

Vinicius Jr., who recently won the FIFA The Best Award, is currently in the US during the Spanish league hiatus. He also shared pictures from a New York trip with Rihanna.

Unrivaled kicks off in January

Angel Reese is set to participate in the first season of Unrivaled, a new 3v3 league created by Breanna Stewart and Napheesa Collier. This league offers additional earning opportunities for players during the WNBA offseason.

Reese will play for Rose BC alongside Lexie Hull, Chelsea Gray, Kahleah Copper, Azura Stevens, and Brittney Sykes. Unrivaled begins on January 17th and will be aired on TNT and streamed on Max.
