Red-Lined Motorsport has launched the Red-Lined T1 Adventure Cup for the 2025 South African Rally-Raid Championship to recognize privateers driving vehicles from their manufacturer.
Non-factory drivers using Red-Lined VK50, VK56, REVO T1+, or the new REVO+ GT-R in the Adventurer category are eligible for the Red-Lined Cup, a subsect of the Ultimate class classified as T1.
Currently leading the Adventurer class standings after five rounds is Gerhard Heinlein, racing a Red-Lined VK56 Evo2. If the trophy existed for 2024, he would be the winner.
Red-Lined Motorsports CEO Terence Marsh announced the Red-Lined T1 Cup for privateers racing in the T1 Adventure Class of the South African Rally Raid Championship. Winners will receive prizes and the chance to lift the inaugural Red-Lined T1 Cup trophy.
The competition is open to privateers racing Red-Lined VK50, VK56, or REVO in the T1 class of the 2025 South African Rally Raid Championship. The overall winning crew will be rewarded, and negotiations with partners are ongoing to finalize the details.
Red-Lined’s VK50 and VK56 are T1 cars based on the Nissan Navara, debuting in T1+ with the REVO T1+ in 2023. The upgraded REVO+ GT-R was introduced in April, using an engine from the Nissan R35 GT-R. The T1+ cars have competed in various championships, with the GT-R model winning its maiden Australian rally in September.
