Aliyah Boston has her eyes set on the inaugural season of the “Unrivaled” league. Boston has been hitting the gym hard, and her excitement to hit the court for 3X3 basketball is palpable in her latest social media post.
The Indiana Fever forward shared a glammed-up video on her Instagram story, dressed in her team, Vinyl BC’s jersey. In the video, Boston is seen dancing to the song, “Lay Down” by OMB Peezy, proudly displaying her jersey and long braids.
“Media Dayyy,” she captioned the video.
Vinyl BC is among the six teams participating in the inaugural season of Unrivaled. The league also showcases top WNBA stars like Breanna Stewart and Napheesa Collier, who are co-founders of the league.
Boston will be teaming up with Arike Ogunbowale, Dearica Hamby, Rhyne Howard, Jordin Canada, and Rae Burrell for the Vinyl Basketball Club, with former Chicago Sky coach Teresa Weatherspoon leading the team.
Aliyah Boston, drafted No. 1 overall by the Indiana Fever in the 2023 WNBA Draft, has already made a mark in the league in just two seasons. She was named an All-Star in both seasons.
Aliyah Boston’s offseason workout video gets major response from teammate Caitlin Clark
Aliyah Boston has been putting in work in the gym this offseason. The Indiana Fever Instagram account posted a video of Boston working out at Worcester Academy, Massachusetts. The Fever star was clad in her black workout gear as she trained with her skill development coach.
Among the many comments on the video was one from Boston’s teammate Caitlin Clark. The Fever guard showed her support for Boston in the comment section.
“GOT ME FIRED UP,” Clark wrote.
Boston and Clark, both back-to-back No. 1 overall picks for the Indiana Fever in the last two WNBA Drafts, are already playing at a high level with potential for even more growth, positioning the Fever as one of the top teams in the league.
In her rookie season, Aliyah Boston earned an All-Star selection with averages of 14.5 points per game, shooting 57.8% from the field and 40.0% from beyond the arc. She also averaged 8.4 rebounds, 2.2 assists, 1.3 steals, and 1.3 blocks per game.
Although her numbers dipped in 2024, Aliyah Boston remained effective, averaging 14.0 points on 52.9% shooting from the field, along with 8.9 rebounds, 3.2 assists, 0.9 steals, and 1.2 blocks per game.
