Celebrating her boyfriend’s birthday, Lexie Hull, a teammate of Caitlin Clark on the Indiana Fever, took to Instagram to wish Will Matthiessen a happy birthday, with Cameron Brink joining in on the celebration.
Sharing a series of photos with her boyfriend in a birthday tribute post, Hull captioned the post with: “Happy birthday to my best friend 💗.”
Cameron Brink added a playful comment, writing: “Mom & dad.”
Brink and Hull share a close bond from their time at Stanford, where they were teammates for two seasons.
Meeting her boyfriend Matthiessen during her time at Stanford, similar to her friendship with Brink, Hull and Brink are both signed to the new 3-on-3 basketball league, Unrivaled.
Currently recovering from a torn ACL, Brink won’t participate in the league’s inaugural season but has signed a multi-year deal with Unrivaled and joined the Lunar Owls as a wildcard pick.
Remaining focused on her rehabilitation after her injury during a WNBA game in June, Brink will be represented by the Lunar Owls this season alongside co-founders Napheesa Collier, Courtney Williams, Skylar Diggins-Smith, Allisha Gray, and Shakira Austin.
Meanwhile, Hull will join Rose BC this season, playing with teammates Kahleah Copper, Chelsea Gray, Brittney Sykes, Angel Reese, and Azura Stevens.

Last year, Cameron Brink announced her engagement to her boyfriend, Ben Felter, who proposed in Paris with the Eiffel Tower as the backdrop.
Taking to Instagram to share the news, Brink captioned her post: “Yes in every lifetime 🤍♾️.”
