⚙️ The setup
This season marks the fifth year of the NFL’s expanded playoff format, with nearly half of the league’s 32 teams in contention for a Super Bowl run. The playoffs kick off with a slate of six games on Wild Card Weekend, taking place from today through Monday.
Winning teams will progress to the Divisional Round next weekend, followed by the conference championships on January 26th. The season will culminate with the highly anticipated Kendrick Lamar concert Super Bowl on February 9th.
The Kansas City Chiefs and the Detroit Lions have secured the No. 1 seeds in the AFC and NFC, respectively, earning them byes to the Divisional Round.
But before that, 12 teams will battle it out over the next three days in the Wild Card Weekend. Let the games begin.
