Allison Litzinger, the senior vice president of marketing at Sephora Canada, stated, “We eagerly embraced the opportunity to assist in establishing this team from the ground up and influencing the cultural dialogue in Canada regarding beauty and basketball through our collaboration with the Toronto Tempo. By honoring the ‘Beauty of Sport’ and the remarkable women who drive it, we will demonstrate to Canadians that we are all part of something truly beautiful.”
Sephora’s logo will be prominently displayed on Toronto Tempo’s jerseys and they will serve as the team’s official beauty partner.
The Toronto Tempo will become the 14th WNBA team in 2026 and is under the ownership of Larry Tanenbaum’s Kilmer Sports Ventures. The team’s home arena will be the Coca-Cola Coliseum in Toronto.
Unrivaled
This alliance follows LVMH’s official beauty partnership with Unrivaled, a new women’s three-on-three basketball league.
Co-founded by Napheesa Collier and Breanna Stewart, Unrivaled is scheduled to launch on January 17 and has garnered support from notable figures, such as tennis sensation Coco Gauff, swimmer Michael Phelps, actors Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis, and retired soccer player Alex Morgan’s Trybe Ventures.
Sephora will be responsible for outfitting the league’s glamour room at Unrivaled’s specially designed facility and supplying all beauty essentials throughout the season from a curated selection of products. Additionally, Sephora will be prominently featured in on-court signage and in the player entrance area, marking the retailer as the first partner to be showcased in this space.
