He appreciated her gesture with humility knowing her loyalty towards Kansas City.DeJean shared“She sent me a nice message congratulating me, so that was nice of her being a Chiefs fan and all.” It must be known that Clark was a basketball player before she entered the WNBA.The gesture of appreciating Clark shows that both the athletes have a mutual respect for each other and their connections as Iowa stars remain a unique bond.But for quite some time Clark has been into the news. Speaking to ESPN Caitlin Clark and Erin Kane have shared their views about the players.Kane said,“What I don’t understand is why today’s players are being held hostage by business decisions made by league executives and front office members.” “They were playing AAU or even younger at this point,” Kane added.Erin Kane also said that she believes Indiana Fever stars and the WNBA players should be paid well. Kane said, “The WNBA has suffered from underinvestment for a long time, I’m glad everybody has seen the light and is now engaged and providing more resources and more opportunities. But the reality is that today’s players should not be penalized for a lack of investment over time made at the business level.
