WNBA games are coming to Baltimore.

The Washington Mystics announced Thursday that two of their 2025 home games will be held at CFG Bank Arena, with both featuring superstar Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever.

In addition to the games in Baltimore on May 28 (7:30 p.m.) and Sept. 7 (3 p.m.), the Mystics will also host two games at EagleBank Arena in Fairfax, Virginia, on July 10 against the Las Vegas Aces and July 8 against Randallstown native Angel Reese and the Chicago Sky for their annual Camp Day.

“Fans of the Mystics live across the DMV and beyond, and we’re excited to bring the incredible experience of the WNBA closer to home for fans living near Baltimore and Northern Virginia,” Mystics Chief Business Officer Alycen McAuley said in a statement. “As our game continues to experience tremendous growth, we’re thankful we have this opportunity to allow even more fans to come see the Mystics in person.”

The Mystics have annually hosted four regular-season games at Capital One Arena in downtown Washington, but that 20,000-seat building is undergoing renovations over the summer. That gives CFG Bank Arena the opportunity to host its first professional basketball game since completing its own $250 million facelift in 2023.

The 14,000-seat downtown Baltimore arena has hosted the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association men’s and women’s basketball tournaments for three years and held a men’s Division I doubleheader this past November featuring Penn State, Virginia Tech, Villanova and Virginia as part of the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame Series.

Clark, however, would be the biggest sports draw so far. The 2024 WNBA Rookie of the Year routinely played in front of sellout crowds and drew record television ratings in her debut season, including a game against the Mystics at Capital One Arena that set a WNBA record for the largest crowd with more than 20,000 fans in attendance.

Group and single-game tickets for the Mystics’ relocated games will go on sale Thursday, April 3.
