2024-25 All-NCAC Women’s Basketball Teams
CLEVELAND, Ohio — The North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) announced the organization’s annual All-NCAC women’s basketball teams on Tuesday, and Kenyon College’s Alyssa Horsley earned All-NCAC Third Team honors. The first-year was one of just two conference newcomers to earn a spot on the 15-player ledger, and she is the first Kenyon first-year to earn all-conference accolades since Maureen Hirt in 2010-11.
Horsley wasted no time making an impact for the Owls as she led the team in points (270), rebounds (136), and assists (49) while ranking second in steals (38) over her first season in Gambier. She also paced Kenyon with 41 free throws and 53 free throw attempts, shooting 77.4 percent to lead all players with 10 or more attempts. She shot even better from the charity stripe against NCAC opponents, and her efficient 82.4 percent clip in league matchups ranked sixth amongst conference players.
The forward averaged 11.3 points per game overall, and her average improved to 12.4 points per conference contest. Her scoring ranked amongst the best in the league, ranking 11th overall and eighth in conference-only stats. Horsley also ranked 11th in the NCAC at 5.7 rebounds per game. In NCAC play, her 6.4 rebounds per game marked the eighth-best output.
Horsely was one of just three Owls to play all 24 of the team’s games, and she was the only player to start each of Kenyon’s contests. Her season-high of 22 points tied fellow first-year Kiana Mollabashy for the team’s high-water mark. She added 11 rebounds in the same game, marking the team’s season-high and her first career double-double.
