But right now, I’m just focused on Saturday.”

Well, Auriemma made a compelling case for why she might stay another year, citing the WNBA’s upcoming collective bargaining agreement.

More money, better contracts—waiting until 2026 could mean a bigger payday. “Besides, if she stays one more year, she’ll make more money next year when she goes into the draft,” Auriemma said.
