Kate Martin and her Laces BC are set to play the Rose in playoff semifinals of the new 3-on-3 women’s basketball league, Unrivaled, at 6:30 p.m. CT Sunday, March 16. TruTV will broadcast the game.
The former Iowa women’s basketball star and member of the new WNBA expansion team, the Golden State Valkyries, is one of six players on the Laces’ roster. The team is coached by Andrew Wade.
Martin was averaging 7.8 points, 5.2 rebounds and 1.2 steals through the team’s 5-3 start, but missed the last several games of the regular season due to injury.
Unrivaled games are played in Miami, Fla.
