BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) – Following last Sunday’s season ending loss to UCLA, LSU guard Flau’Jae Johnson had 48 hours to declare for the WNBA draft.
We are way past the WNBA deadline and CBS Sports reports that according to The Athletic, Johnson’s name is not on the list.
So, it’s looking like big 4 will be back in Baton Rouge for her fourth and final season.
Despite being a junior, Johnson is draft eligible because she turns 22 during the WNBA calendar year…November to be specific.
This past season, the Georgia native averaged nearly 19 points per game, a career high.
Johnson also shot 47 percent from the field, 38 percent from three.
