The 2025 WNBA season is nearing, and teams are gearing up to begin training camp at the end of the month. However, before then, all 13 teams will gather at The Shed in New York City on Monday night for the 2025 WNBA draft.
The draft is where it all begins, and players entering the league finally get to learn their destination of team and city.

Just a year ago, the Indiana Fever selected Caitlin Clark with the No. 1 overall pick. Since then, she has quickly made her mark, breaking multiple records and winning the WNBA Rookie of the Year award.
And on Monday night, the Fever will have a chance to add their next wave of talent. After trading the No. 8 overall pick to the Phoenix Mercury for Sophie Cunningham in a four-team trade, Indiana no longer holds a first-round pick this year.
Instead, the Fever have three selections: picks 19, 20 and 33 — two in the second round and one in the third.

This marks the first time since the 2017 WNBA draft that the Fever won’t have a top-four pick. That is because the Fever finished last season 20-20 — their best record since 2012.
The 2025 WNBA draft will begin at 7:30 p.m. ET on ESPN. Coverage will begin at 7 p.m. ET with “WNBA Countdown.”
