The WNBA season begins this week and the women’s basketball world has been interested in what Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever will be able to do this season.
Clark will begin her sophomore campaign in the WNBA after helping lead the Fever to their first playoff appearance since 2016 last season.

Even though the Fever weren’t able to find a win in the 2024 postseason, their new and improved roster will look to flip the environment around and look for more success.

Indiana’s start to the 2024 season included seven straight losses that put them in a hole that they would have to climb out of.
This season, the Fever will aim to improve their 20-win campaign in 2024 and get off to a stronger start.
With the addition of the expansion team Golden State Valkyries, the 2025 regular season will expand to 44 games per team.
The Fever added veteran help in their pursuit of a WNBA championship this season. One notable signing is forward DeWanna Bonner, who brings a proven winning mentality.

“She knows how to win,” Montgomery said on WNBA Weekly Preview.
Bonner is a two-time WNBA champion, six-time All-Star and has won three Sixth Man of the Year awards in her 15 seasons in the WNBA.
She was able to finish with 15.0 points, 6.0 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.2 steals with the Connecticut Sun in 2024.
She’s been reliable on the court as well, playing in all 40 games of the season in 2023 and 2024.

Her experience along with her ability to score the ball will add another option for Clark and the Fever in their pursuit to a WNBA championship in 2025.
