Eagles lose national scout to Broncos

The Philadelphia Eagles are losing a third member of their scouting department this offseason.

Eagles national scout Jordon Dizon is returning to the Denver Broncos as their new director of pro scouting, according to Inside The League’s Neil Stratton.

Dizon originally joined the Eagles during the 2022 offseason. Prior to that, the Colorado Buffaloes alumnus served the Broncos’ front office from 2015-2021.

Dizon joins former Eagles senior director of college scouting Anthony Patch and former Eagles senior director of scouting Brandon Hunt to leave Philly this offseason. They all landed in the AFC West with Dizon joining the Broncos and the duo of Patch and Hunt joining the Las Vegas Raiders.

Front office poachings are to be expected given the Eagles’ Super Bowl success. These executives also know that there’s a certain ceiling for them in Philly with Howie Roseman firmly entrenched as general manager.

The Eagles will likely soon announce some front office additions and promotions. The team will need to work towards replacing the talent they’ve lost.
