Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Middleweights will headline a Fight Night in “Sin City.”
No. 8-ranked Roman Dolidze will collide with No. 9-seeded Anthony Hernandez at UFC Vegas 109 on Sat., Aug. 9, 2025, inside the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The two Middleweights were originally slated to clash at UFC 302 in June 2024, but Hernandez withdrew due to a torn hand ligament.

Dolidze (15-3) enters the bout following a five-round unanimous decision victory over Marvin Vettori at UFC Vegas 104. The 36-year-old Georgian is riding a three-fight winning streak, with notable wins over Kevin Holland and Anthony Smith.
UFC Vegas 109 marks Dolidze’s third UFC main event.

Hernandez (14-2-1) is fresh off a unanimous decision win over Brendan Allen at UFC Seattle. “Fluffy” is enjoying the best run of his career, boasting a seven-fight winning streak with victories over Michel Pereira (watch highlights), Roman Kopylov, and Edmen Shahbazyan, among others.
A victory over Dolidze could propel the 31-year-old into serious title contention, especially with the Middleweight division ripe for new challengers to face champion Dricus Du Plessis.
