WNBA Fans in Disbelief Over Angel Reese’s Pass originally appeared on Athlon Sports.
During her first year in the WNBA, Angel Reese dished out 1.9 assists per game. Playmaking isn’t really her forte, though, since she’s more of a rebounding machine — averaging 13.1 rebounds for the Chicago Sky in her rookie season.

This 2025 campaign, it has stayed largely the same for Reese. While she’s dominating the glass, she’s not really creating a lot of plays for his teammates. That’s not her role anyway.
Despite that, though, the All-Star forward had a rather interesting moment when she pulled off a highlight-reel worthy assist during the Sky’s Saturday showdown with the Dallas Wings.
Late in the first quarter, Reese attacked the basket and was quickly hounded by two Wings players. What happened next was a work of art, as the 23-year-old used the gap between her defenders to send the ball to Elizabeth Williams for the easy two points.
The WNBA was mind-blown by her play, and so were the fans who witnessed the play.

“She’s a really good passer. When her scoring gets consistent she’ll be elite,” a fan praised Reese. Another supporter said, “That was a fire dime tho.”
“Angel is gonna start being on triple double watch.. she is starting to be a good passer and defender …her scoring might not be on point right now but it’s the intangibles that make her very important to this team,” a hyped viewer added.
A commenter stated, “Great assist.”
“Angel’s assists are awesome,” a follower remarked.
“YES ANGEL REESE,” a sixth fan shared.

Reese finished the game with 14 points, nine rebounds, two assists and three steals. To make it even better, the Sky got their second win of the season after starting off with a 0-4 record.
