Hailey Van Lith had 16 points while Angel Reese had her first career triple-double to lead the Chicago Sky to a 78-66 win over the Connecticut Sun at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, CT on Sunday afternoon. Marina Mabrey led all scorers with 22 points.
Former UConn star Tina Charles had 19 points and six rebounds while Olivia Nelson-Ododa had five points and 10 rebounds. Bria Hartley added six points and five assists. Four time national champion Moriah Jefferson did not make the trip for the Sky as she is out with a leg injury. Her teammate in Chicago and for one year at UConn, Kia Nurse, had 11 points.
