Sean Strickland’s name is trending for his involvement with a post-fight brawl at a regional MMA show.

Strickland is no stranger to the spotlight and often finds himself entangled in some sort of controversy. That remained the case when he stormed the cage to attack a fighter at a Tuff-N-Uff event on Sunday.

During Tuff-N-Uff 145, Luis Hernandez secured an impressive standing guillotine submission victory over Miles Hunsinger, but the drama didn’t end there.

Directly after earning the tap, Hernandez goaded Hunsinger’s corner with a disrespectful gesture. On any other night the incident may have been brushed under the carpet, however, any night with Strickland in attendance is different and the UFC star felt the need to storm the cage and attack the 185er.

All hell almost broke loose when Sean Strickland and Chris Curtis ran into the cage and advanced towards the fighter.

A visibly upset Strickland pushed aside everyone to get to Hernandez before throwing a right hand at the retreating middleweight.

While also annoyed by the situation, Chris Curtis was much calmer than his Xtreme Couture counterpart.

The win improved Luis Hernandez to 6-0 in his professional mixed martial arts career.

Throughout his four-year tenure, ‘The Stache’ has showcased his ability to finish fights, winning all of his bouts by stoppage. Adding another submission victory to his resume on June 29 improved his streak to two knockouts and four submission wins, though his most recent performance led to the aforementioned unwanted confrontation.

As is often the case, Sean Strickland can not help but get involved in unnecessary situations outside of the octagon.

Strickland is unapologetically himself and this isn’t the first time he has found himself caught up in a mishap that captures the fans attention.
