Bangkok, Thailand – ONE Championship™ returned to the iconic Lumpinee Stadium for ONE Fight Night 33: Rodrigues vs. Persson, delivering another action-packed card of elite martial arts. The headline bout saw Brazil’s Allycia Hellen Rodrigues successfully defend her ONE Women’s Atomweight Muay Thai World Championship, stopping Swedish challenger Johanna Persson with a highlight-reel knockout in round three.

Persson, a former WBC Muay Thai World Champion, came out aggressively in the opening round, using sharp boxing combinations to put Rodrigues on the defensive. The champion, however, kept her composure and responded with precise counterstrikes, showcasing her trademark power and ring IQ.

The second round saw Rodrigues shift gears, matching Persson’s pace and landing clean strikes that began to turn the tide in her favor. By round three, Rodrigues found her rhythm and delivered a masterclass in timing and technique.

Just under a minute into the final round, Rodrigues landed her signature left hook, dropping Persson twice and forcing the referee to call a stop to the contest at 0:59 of Round 3, securing the knockout victory and retaining her title.

In the co-main event, a highly anticipated featherweight Muay Thai clash between Shadow Singha Mawynn and Mohamed Younes Rabah ended in disappointment after an accidental eye poke in the second round rendered Rabah unable to continue. The bout was ruled a no contest.
