The Indiana Fever and Connecticut Sun faced each other for the third time this season. Fortunately for both teams, it wasn’t as physical as their previous matchup. The contest between the two on June 17 was too rough. It led to scuffles, technical fouls and ejections.

Other than the uncalled elbow on Fever guard Sophie Cunningham, the majority of the game was smooth. Indiana captured an 85-77 win over Connecticut, thanks to the performance from Kelsey Mitchell. The star guard had 20 points, two rebounds and three assists on 61.5% shooting from the field.
All-Star guard Caitlin Clark, who played her fourth straight game after missing four games due to injury, finished with 14 points, eight rebounds and seven assists.

Following the contest, veteran Sun star Tina Charles was seen having a moment with Fever star Aliyah Boston. The two played the same position and dueled inside the paint for most of the game.

However, Charles outplayed the young player with her 21 points and 11 rebounds. Boston, meanwhile, finished the game with 11 points, six rebounds and four assists. The eight-time All-Star was seen talking to the younger player, giving her tips inside the post.
“We love moments like this,” the WNBA posted. “The vet Tina Charles giving game to the young star Aliyah Boston following their matchup in Boston.”
The Fever and Sun have one game left before the regular season ends. Fans will want to tune in on August 17 for their final bout before the playoffs. It’ll be exciting to see another matchup between Boston and Charles.
