TEMPE, Ariz. – The 2025 ITA Summer Series powered by WTN returned with an action-packed Week Four, as Baylor hosted the lone ITA Masters Series event in Waco while eight additional host sites put on ITA Summer Points Race Series events across the country.
Among the eight new ITA National Summer Championships qualifiers were Baylor’s Calvin Baierl, who won this week’s Men’s Masters Series event on his home court in Waco, and North Carolina’s Alanis Hamilton, who edged out Louisiana Tech’s Zoie Epps in the Women’s final. Baierl and Hamilton are the latest champions to qualify for the summer championships from August 9-12 in Memphis.
In the ITA Summer Points Race Series, UT Tyler’s Trevor Short used a runner-up finish in the ‘A’ flight at TCU to jump atop the Men’s standings, leading a trio of players tied for second by 20 points. Davidson’s Ellie Hammond still paces the Women’s standings, thanks to her Week 3 championship in Louisville, holding a 25-point advantage over Chicago State’s Camila Sanchez. American River’s Aileena Hu and Minnesota’s Yinong Ma, each totaling 390 points, joined the top-three of the Women’s standings after strong showings in Week Four.
