Minnesota is looking to get back on track after having its four-game winning streak snapped by the Atlanta Dream on Sunday night. The 90-86 loss wasted a phenomenal game by Napheesa Collier, where she scored 32 points on 14-for-18 from the field, to go with her eight rebounds, seven assists, four steals, and two blocks. As a team, the Lynx shot 56.1%, but couldn’t come up with stops when they needed them, allowing the Dream to shoot 70.6% in the fourth quarter.
New York is dealing with its own mini-slump, having lost two straight after a five-game winning streak. They last played on Monday, losing 92-82 on the road to the Dallas Wings in a game where they trailed by 27 at halftime. They would go on to outscore the Wings 46-29 in the second half, holding the Wings to just 28.1% shooting, but they had dug themselves too deep a hole to crawl out of.
The Liberty and Lynx have not played each other yet this season, but they will meet four times, including tonight.
