Angel Reese and the Chicago Sky have suffered through another disappointing season in 2025. Unfortunately, the star forward has also been missing time recently due to a back injury.
To this point in the year, the Sky have compiled a lowly 8-21 record. Finally, after losing eight straight games, Chicago was able to pick up a win in its last game against the Washington Mystics.
In her second WNBA season, Reese has taken a leap in the right direction. She has shown many improvements on the court. At this point, she is the clear franchise cornerstone for the Sky moving forward.

Along with her talent on the court, Reese has captivated a huge fan base with her vibrant social media skills. Now, she could be targeting another off-the-court career move.

On X, Reese shared her love for the TV show The Hunting Wives.
“Nglllll The Hunting Wives is a CRAZYYYY but good watch,” Reese wrote in a post.
Her support was quickly noted by the show’s creator, Rebecca Cutter. She quickly responded to Reese’s support.
“I am DEAD on the floor!!! thank you for watching our lil ol show @Reese10Angel!!!” Cutter wrote.
That is when Reese shot her shot at potentially beginning a career outside of basketball. She seemingly offered herself as a potential member of the cast in Season 2.
“just let me know if you need me for season 2,” Reese wrote, adding a winking emoji at the end.
Fans Clearly Want to See Angel Reese on TV
After her last post about Season 2 of the show, fans immediately took to Reese’s comment section. They want to see her on television.
“You belong on TV for real, Angel. Whether it’s hoops, reality, or drama you got ‘it.’ Star energy all around,” one fan wrote.
Another commented, “A networking master you are.”
“Hollywood Barbie loading!” a third comment read.
A fourth fan said, “This is the energy we need for season 2!”

Angel Reese’s Basketball Career Is Flourishing
While she clearly loves the show and seemingly offered to be willing to appear in it, Reese has been dominating on the basketball court as well.
Throughout the course of the 2025 season, she has played in 23 games, averaging 14.2 points per game to go along with 12.6 rebounds, 3.7 assists, and 1.5 steals. She has also shot 44.4 percent from the floor.
Chicago may not be a contender just yet, but if it builds the right way around Reese that time may not be far off. Assuming Reese continues developing and growing her game, the Sky could be poised to take a huge leap in 2026.
