Prague, Czech Republic – OKTAGON 74 delivered a night to remember on Saturday, August 9, as Europe’s premier MMA promotion returned to the iconic open-air venue of Štvanice. Under the summer night sky, fans witnessed a new champion crowned and the highly anticipated €1 million Tipsport Gamechanger semifinal lineup finalized.

In the main event, Lucia Szabová (10-0) extended her perfect record and claimed the bantamweight title with a dominant first-round TKO over Cecilie Bolander (4-2). Nicknamed “Silent Killer,” Szabová took the Norwegian to the mat early, imposing her strength before unleashing a flurry of punches and elbows to secure the stoppage at 3:11. With the belt now around her waist, she stands as the division’s top contender, though a wave of rising talent promises tough challenges ahead.

The co-main event saw Kerim Engizek (23-4) keep his incredible 11-year unbeaten streak alive, finishing Mick Stanton (14-9) in the first round of their Tipsport Gamechanger quarterfinal clash. After some early grappling exchanges, Engizek secured top position and rained down strikes until the referee stepped in at 3:03. The reigning middleweight champion now advances to face a dangerous hometown favorite in the semifinals.
That hometown hero, Dominik Humburger (11-2), electrified the Prague crowd by knocking out Mark Hulme (13-4) in round two. Hulme started strong, but Humburger turned the tide with relentless pressure and heavy shots, capping it off with a brutal elbow at 2:59. The win sets up a can’t-miss semifinal showdown with Engizek later this year in Bratislava.
Also advancing to the Gamechanger final four:
Krzysztof Jotko (27-6, 1NC) stopped Marek Mazúch (9-4) with punches and elbows in the second round.
Hojat Khajevand (10-4) earned a unanimous decision over Piotr Wawrzyniak (14-7) in a close, tactical battle.
In the reserve bout, Kamil Oniszczuk (11-5) outpointed David Zawada (19-12) to keep himself in contention should an opening arise in the semifinals.
The preliminary card featured more highlight-reel action:
Radek Roušal (5-2) TKO’d Adrian Hamerski (4-2) in round two at featherweight.
Daniel Ligocki (5-1) scored a quick first-round knockout over Andre Langen (3-3, 1NC) at catchweight (87kg/192lbs).
Vojtěch Khol (3-0) submitted Raphael Federico (5-2) via guillotine in round three.
Muay Thai world champion Niamh Kinehan (1-0) made a successful pro MMA debut, earning a unanimous decision over Michaela Hlaváčiková (0-1).
