GLORY Kickboxing is set to crown a new light heavyweight world champion on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at GLORY 104: Last Heavyweight Standing from the RTM Stage in Rotterdam, Netherlands. The vacant title will be decided in a blockbuster clash between former champion Tarik “The Tank” Khbabez (52-12-1, 28 KO) and the wild, unpredictable knockout machine Bahram “The Golden Wolf” Rajabzadeh (72-5, 64 KO).
A Championship Opportunity Amid Controversy
Khbabez, one of the most battle-tested fighters in GLORY history, originally captured the title from Donegi Abena in 2024 and successfully defended it before losing to Sergej Maslobojev at GLORY 100 earlier this year. However, following Maslobojev’s positive drug test and subsequent decision to vacate the belt, the path opened for Khbabez to immediately fight for the gold once again.
Now, “The Tank” has a chance at redemption and another shot at cementing his legacy in GLORY’s stacked light heavyweight division. With 28 knockouts in his career, Khbabez is always a threat to end fights violently and quickly.
The Golden Wolf Finally Gets His Shot
Across the ring, Bahram Rajabzadeh will finally receive the long-awaited title opportunity that fans have been calling for. Known for his explosive style and relentless forward pressure, Rajabzadeh has become one of GLORY’s most exciting fighters since his 2023 return.
Competing across both the heavyweight and light heavyweight divisions, he has built an impressive streak of six straight knockout victories, terrorizing opponents with his unpredictability and devastating power. For years, fans have speculated about a Khbabez vs. Rajabzadeh showdown—and now it becomes reality.
This matchup is more than just a title fight; it’s a collision of two knockout artists at the peak of their careers, with the potential to deliver one of the most unforgettable fights in GLORY history.
Last Heavyweight Standing Tournament Continues
GLORY 104 will also advance the Last Heavyweight Standing tournament, a year-long series designed to crown the undisputed king of the heavyweight division. The event will feature two stacked four-man brackets, with the winners moving on to the grand finale later this year.
Confirmed competitors include:
Levi Rigters (20-3, 10 KO)
Nabil Khachab (30-6-1, 4 KO)
Rade Opacic (22-7, 17 KO)
Milos Cvjeticanin (14-4, 9 KO)
Asadulla Nasipov (12-2, 5 KO)
Sofian Laidouni (40-5-1, 20 KO)
Mike Kena (9-1, 7 KO)
Alin Nechita (18-2, 7 KO)
With knockout specialists in every bracket, the road to the final promises chaos, upsets, and highlight-reel finishes.
Featherweights Bring the Heat
Also on the card, the GLORY x RISE Last Featherweight Standing tournament will see two high-level matchups:
Miguel Trindade (62-8, 26 KO) vs. Bobo Sacko (79-6-1, 30 KO)
Berjan Peposhi (31-5, 16 KO) vs. Aitor Ibanez (28-7-1, 13 KO)
These fights add another layer of excitement to an already stacked event, as featherweight prospects look to secure their place in the international bracket.
