Forward/Center Kai Jones has signed with Anadolu Efes in Turkey for the upcoming season. Jones’ deal with Anadolu Efes is expected to include an NBA out that can be triggered in January.
Jones spent last season with the LA Clippers and Dallas Mavericks. In 40 total NBA games, the 6-foot-11 big man averaged 5.0 points and 3.1 rebounds in 11.7 minutes per game.
Earlier this offseason, Jones had worked out with the Miami Heat. He’s also played for the Charlotte Hornets during his three-year NBA career.
Jones will join a host of former NBA players on the Anadolu Efes roster. Shane Larkin leads group of former NBAers that includes P.J. Dozier, Cole Swider, Vincent Poirier, Georgios Papagiannis, Rodrigue Beaubois and recently signed EuroBasket standout Jordan Loyd.
