Caitlin Clark is sidelined for the Indiana Fever amid their WNBA playoff run due to the groin injury she suffered during the regular season. The All-Star guard played in just 13 games for the team, averaging 16.5 points, 5.0 rebounds, 8.8 assists and 1.6 steals.
While Clark is out, she remains a major presence for the team. During their first-round series against the Atlanta Dream — which saw Indiana win 2-1 — she was actively cheering for her teammates throughout.
Now, as the Fever prepare for the semifinals against the Las Vegas Aces, Clark has found a new role for Indiana aside from being a cheerleader on the sidelines.
During the team’s practice on Saturday ahead of their Sunday opener against the Aces, Clark played the role of a team photographer. In fact, the Fever shared on social media the photos she took — from Lexie Hull posing and Coach Stephanie White writing on paper, to Sophie Cunningham watching while lying on the sidelines.
The post also included a video of Clark while she was taking photos.
