Jake Paul predicts a 'viral knockout' against Gervonta "Tank" Davis

The Kaseya Center in Miami, Fla. will host the exhibition boxing match between influencer-turned-boxer Jake Pauland former multiple-division champion Gervonta “Tank” Davis on Nov. 14. It’s a matchup between David and Goliath. 

Paul stands over six feet tall. Davis is 5’5″. Paul regularly competes at 200 pounds. Davis’ weighed in for his last fight at 133.8 pounds in March. The state of Georgia declined to host the fight due to the weight discrepancy. Despite the overwhelming size and reach advantage, Paul considers Davis his toughest test. 

“I’m locked in I know this is my toughest fight. He’s undefeated, highly skilled, most experienced fighter I’ve fought, Top 5 pound-for-pound, so I have to have the best version of myself,” Paul told TMZ Sports.  

“I know how fast he is. I know how strong he is. I believe I’m stronger, more athletic. That’s my advantage going into the fight, but he pretty much has every other advantage, so I’m locked in, fully focused, feeling amazing already, and I’m going to put on a performance and have the biggest fight of 2025.”

Paul is approaching the fight looking to win and ‘upset a lot of people,’ He predicted that he’d knock the undersized Davis out.

“Tank is going to be the one surviving. I’m going to upset a lot of people. They’re going to have to say there’s some crazy excuse, fights are rigged. They can’t use the steroid excuse because we have full-on random drug testing at anytime. They could knock on my door right now,” said Paul. “So they can’t use that excuse, and obviously I’m suing people who say the fights are rigged.”

“I’m going to knock this guy out and probably create one of the most viral knockouts in the history of boxing.”
