Naz Hillmon and the Atlanta Dream grabbed a 1-0 lead over the Indiana Fever in the opening round of the 2025 WNBA playoffs. But two straight losses ended their season, as the Fever took the series 2-1. It followed Atlanta’s best regular season in franchise history, a 30-14 finish.

Hillmon put together the best season of her four-year career in 2025, averaging career highs of 8.6 points, 6.2 rebounds and 2.4 assists. She appeared in all 44 games for the Dream, starting 17 and coming off the bench in 27. Her performance even earned her the WNBA Sixth Player of the Year award, the first of her career.

Now, Hillmon, like many other WNBA players, will be taking her talents to a different league during the offseason.

On Tuesday, it was announced that Hillmon will join season two of Unrivaled, the 3-on-3 women’s basketball league. Founded by New York Liberty star Breanna Stewart and Minnesota Lynx star Napheesa Collier, the league debuted in early 2025 in Miami.

While Hillmon wasn’t a full-time player in Unrivaled’s inaugural season, she did join Rose BC on a relief-player contract, filling in for another injured player and helping them win the first championship. Hillmon will be one of 48 players in season two.

“NAZ HILLMON IS UNRIVALED ✅,” Unrivaled wrote on X. “Presented by @ally Catch her in Season 2 starting Jan. 5 on TNT, truTV and Max. 📺”

As of Thursday, Hillmon is one of 24 players Unrivaled has revealed for 2025, with another 24 to come. She will join other stars such as Paige Bueckers, Alyssa Thomas, Kelsey Mitchell and the two founders.
