The Indiana Fever got off to an incredible start in the WNBA semifinals, beating the Las Vegas Aces 89-73 in Game 1 to take a 1-0 series lead. Ever since then, however, they have lost back-to-back games and now trail Becky Hammon’s squad 2-1.
There were high hopes that Indiana would be able to retake the lead in Game 3, especially since the team was playing at home in Gainbridge Fieldhouse. However, they ended up losing 84-72, giving the Aces control of the series.
Now, as Indiana faces playoff elimination in Game 4, the team has called on its fans to show up once again on their home court and rally behind the players as they look to force a do-or-die Game 5.
“Must-win Game 4 tomorrow at @gainbridgefieldhouse,” the Fever wrote. “We need you, Fever fans. Show up. Show out. Let’s bring the noise.”
