Cameron Brink’s comeback from a torn ACL will include a stop in Miami.

Unrivaled announced Tuesday the Los Angeles Sparks forward is the newest addition to the 2026 roster. Brink signed with Unrivaled after her rookie season but couldn’t suit up due to her injury:

The league followed up by announcing the inclusions of Dallas Wings star Arike Ogunbowale, Connecticut Sun guard Marina Mabrey, Minnesota Lynx guard DiJonai Carrington, Wings forward Maddy Siegrist and Lynx forward Alanna Smith:

Here’s Unrivaled’s player pool so far as it inches toward its full reveal:

Brink returned to the court on July 29, a little over a year after her ACL tear. Sparks head coach Lynne Roberts was careful in managing her workload as she averaged just 12.8 minutes in her 19 appearances, down from 21.9 in 2024.

Los Angeles also had postseason ambitions, which complicated the process of integrating a young player back into the lineup.

Still, Brink reminded everyone of her potential as she averaged 14.2 points, 12.1 rebounds and 3.8 blocks per 36 minutes, according to Basketball Reference.

Given her situation, Unrivaled will be a great way for the 23-year-old to keep rediscovering her rhythm and feel on the court. Should she perform well, Sparks fans will be excited about what’s in store for the 2026 WNBA season.

Ogunbowale might be heading into Year 2 in Unrivaled with a point to prove.

The four-time All-Star had the worst year of her WNBA career in 2025. She averaged 15.5 points on 36.4 percent shooting along with 4.1 assists. Knee tendinitis also helped to limit her to 29 games.

Expectations for the Wings were high with the arrival of No. 1 overall pick Paige Bueckers. Instead, Dallas tied for the WNBA’s worst record (10-34) and the backcourt tandem of Bueckers and Ogunbowale never really clicked.

Having both in Unrivaled for 2026 should make for a fun dynamic, especially if they’re lined up on opposing teams.

Mabrey didn’t have designs on spending the entire season in Connecticut as the Sun continued their rebuild. She requested a trade in the spring, only for the team to hold firm.

The 5’11” guard proceeded to average 14.4 points but shoot a career-worst 27 percent from beyond the arc. The Sun (11-33) only finished one game above the Wings and Chicago Sky as well.

As an unrestricted free agent, Mabrey will have the chance to pick her next destination, and she likely views Unrivaled as a way to make a last impression on WNBA general managers.

Carrington is an example of how beneficial a change of scenery can be.

The WNBA’s Most Improved Player in 2024, her performance suffered following an offseason trade to the Wings. Upon going to the Lynx ahead of the trade deadline, she almost immediately rediscovered her groove.

In 11 games with the Lynx, Carrington shot 45.5 percent from beyond the arc and averaged 8.6 points and 1.2 steals.

She was teammates with Smith down the stretch as Minnesota put the finishing touches on the best record in the WNBA this season.

Smith was a solid secondary performer for the Lynx and averaged 9.6 points, 5.1 rebounds, 2.9 assists, 1.9 blocks and 1.3 steals per game while doing a little bit of everything on the court.

While things didn’t go well for the Wings as a whole in 2025, Siegrist had her best individual year, averaging 12.7 points and 4.3 rebounds.

The strides the 6’2″ forward made as a shooter were particularly noticeable. She connected on 32.1 percent of her three-pointers, a big jump from 27 percent in 2024.
