LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — The Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority’s sponsorship with the Las Vegas Aces is set to expire.
The LVCVA announced $100K sponsorships for every player on the roster before the start of the 2024 season. That money more than doubled half of the players’ salaries.
Now that the two-year sponsorship is up, LVCVA President Steve Hill was asked about whether it’ll be renewed as the three-time winning WNBA champions return home.
“It’s not our plan to,” he said. “But we haven’t completely made a decision, and we haven’t had a conversation yet.”
Hill said the contract was originally intended for just two years.
