The NBA, WNBA and G League have extended their marketing arrangements with Adidas, as part of an ongoing plan to align the sneaker brand with ascending young players on their respective digital platforms.
Through the multiyear renewal, Adidas will particularly gain exposure on the NBA’s digital initiative, Future Starts Now, which provides storytelling and content around rising players across the leagues. The deal was handled internally by both sides.
Adidas — leaning on its global brand mantra of “You Got This” — has a roster of established players that includes T’Wolves G Anthony Edwards, Clippers G James Harden, Cavaliers G Donovan Mitchell, Trail Blazers G Damian Lillard, Fever C Aliyah Boston, Aces G Chelsea Gray and Mercury F Satou Sabally.
