Tournament Draws & Reults
Tuscaloosa, AL – The 2025 ITA Collegiate Wheelchair Singles National Championship Qualifier will begin this Friday, October 24 in Tuscaloosa, Alabama where Cincinnati, Houston, Auburn, Michigan, Arizona, and Alabama will all compete to have players qualify for the ITA Collegiate Wheelchair Singles National Semifinals which will be played at the NCAA Individual Championships this November in Lake Nona.
Featuring the most depth of talent ever seen at the collegiate wheelchair level, two Grand Slam Junior finalists will be in the playing field this week as Alabama’s Francesco Felici (US Open Junior Finalist, 2023) will look to defend his 2024-25 ITA Collegiate Wheelchair Tennis Singles Championship and Arizona’s Sabina Czauz (US Open Junior Champion, 2025) will look to make a big splash in her first fall in college.
All four semifinalists from the 2024-25 ITA Collegiate Wheelchair Singles National Championship return this year looking to defend their strong performances from last year. Caiden Baxter (Michigan), Eric Court (Arizona), Nicholas Tijerina (Houston), and Felici (Alabama) were the four advancing players last year, with two of the four being seeded players once again this year.
In addition to the Coed A Singles Draw, the tournament in Tuscaloosa will also feature a Coed B and Coed C Singles Draw for other athletes on these teams to compete this weekend. In total, 21 student-athletes from six schools will take part in the action at The Parker-Haun Tennis Facility.
