Life has moved fast for Caitlin Clark. In just two years, she went from playing her final college basketball season to becoming one of the most talked-about athletes across the globe. Such fame can be overwhelming for some, but Clark is handling it with gratitude.

Clark appeared as one of the celebrity keynote speakers at Becker’s Healthcare’s CEO + CFO Roundtable at the Hilton Chicago. During the conversation, she showed humility when speaking about her rise in popularity.

The Indiana Fever star revealed that she would often take a step back and reflect on her journey from the outside, reminding herself how fortunate she is. Additionally, her fans inspire her to keep pushing herself.

“There’s really nothing like walking out in front of a sold out crowd,” Clark said. “Young boys and young girls cheering for you. That’s just a very humbling feeling. At the end of the day, that’s why you do it, because you love it. You love to compete. And yeah, you want to continue to get better at it.”

This event is one of the few public appearances Caitlin Clark has made at a forum of this kind since the end of the 2025 WNBA season. The season wrapped up in mid-September, but Clark had already been out of action since mid-July due to a groin injury.

Caitlin Clark welcomes Fever’s latest signing

Less than two months after their semifinal playoff loss, the Indiana Fever have made a move to continue being successful for years to come.

The change is not in the roster, but an enhancement to the coaching staff. The team has added Rob Dosier as the latest member to its player development group.

The decision appears to be well-received already.

Dosier’s arrival was warmly validated by the players themselves, with two of the team’s biggest stars, Caitlin Clark and Lexie Hull, sharing the Fever’s announcement post on their Instagram Stories. Their social media activity must’ve made Dosier feel instantly welcomed to the camp.

While the Fever continues to make changes to improve Caitlin Clark and co.’s chances of competing for a championship, the future of the WNBA remains unclear.

The league and its players have yet to finalize a new collective bargaining agreement. Until that is resolved, the possibility of a lockout still exists.
