I was thinking about how we end and start practice every day, connecting our feet because we never want to be a team of islands or individuals. We want to be a connected, together team that does something better because we complete each other. We complement each other.
And we didn’t show that tonight.
So, I think it’s a good wakeup call and to say, “You know what, if we don’t commit to the little championship level standards and habits every day, anything can happen.” And I didn’t think we played near to our potential on either side of the ball.
