Fortnite x The Simpsons: All bosses explained

The Simpsons in Fortnite has already made a big impression since its November 1 launch. The collab has transformed the whole map into the show’s home of Springfield, where players can visit landmarks, use items known to The Simpsons, and much more.

With developer Epic Games reportedly planning on some surprises throughout the mini-season until it ends on November 29, players are already encountering three bosses that can be very difficult to find and defeat. With this in mind, we’re listing each of these Fortnite Simpsons bosses below to help you do both in quick succession.

Evil Homer, a character that only appeared as a daydream to Homer for mere seconds in the ‘Whacking Day’ episode, can be found walking around the Springfield Square section of the Fortnite Simpsons map near the Courthouse. However, Evil Homer doesn’t appear every time – you’ll likely have to keep flying to the Square once you start a new match to see if he’s there. But he has been spotted in other areas, such as at Cletus’ Corn Hole and to the east of Evergreen Terrace.

Like Evil Homer, Krusty the Clown can mainly be found in the Springfield Square area of the Fortnite Simpsons Springfield map, but he has been spotted in other sections. This includes the Slurpworks and is to the east of the Donut District. Krusty may seem harmless at first, but he ends up becoming one of the most difficult bosses due to his balloon gun. Once you’re hit with it, you’re shot up into the air, where he then tries to defeat you while you land.

Witch Marge is a character that appeared in a Treehouse of Horror segment back in 1997’s Season Nine episode. You can find her at Kamp Krusty, Slurpworks, and to the East of Springfield Square. Equipped with the Compact SMG, Witch Marge can surprise you with some quick-burst attacks that could get you quickly eliminated.

Evil Homer will be walking on a set route, which may allow you to deal some early damage to him before he spots you. Armed with a Tactical Shotgun, he will accurately fire at you, quickly shattering your shield. The trick is to fire with a weapon instead of a melee one, run far enough that Evil Homer will decide to ignore you, then fire again when in range. If done correctly, you’ll be able to collect the powerful Tactical Shotgun.

Out of the three bosses, Krusty the Clown is one of the hardest ones to face. Armed with a unique Mr Blasty weapon, this will cause a balloon to attach to your Fortnite skin, taking you high up into the air. This will leave you vulnerable, being left in the sky, which will mean having to find a safe place to land. Instead, try to avoid Krusty’s shots, firing at him in close range to quickly defeat him.

Witch Marge can be surprisingly easy to beat, as she doesn’t summon any special magic attacks, as you may be expecting. Instead, it’s all about the Compact SMG she carries, as she can pile on a bunch of accurate shots in your direction, which could quickly shatter your shield, leaving you open to be eliminated. This fight is simply a matter of taking cover behind some objects where you face her, such as at Kamp Krusty, and firing in short bursts. Repeat the strategy, and you’ll be able to defeat Witch Marge and collect her Compact SMG.

Despite the Simpsons Fortnite collaboration being live for almost a week so far, there has been a huge influx of players already. It taps into a part of nostalgia for those who may not have played the battle-royale for several years, but grew up with The Simpsons. Running around in Springfield, as well as facing these three bosses, only highlights how nostalgia can be a powerful asset in media.

Facing off against Evil Homer and the other bosses only makes this short-term collab more fun to play. With three weeks left until the mini-season ends, it’ll be interesting to see how Epic Games leverages more references from The Simpsons. But after the first week, it seems like the collab is off to a fantastic start, with more surprises surely to come before November 29.
