Philadelphia 76ers star Tyrese Maxey’s ex-girlfriend Myra Gordon dropped a bombshell announcement on Wednesday, the same day she is celebrating her 24th birthday. In her Instagram account, Gordon revealed that she is pregnant with her first child.
Gordon posted an Instagram reel that saw her celebrate her pregnancy and her birthday with close friends in an intimate get-together.
“Year 24. Beyond blessed for every trial, tribulation, and obstacle this past year brought my way — each one shaped me into the strongest version of myself yet. I know now it was all preparing me for this next chapter,” Gordon wrote.
“To my friends and family who’ve stood by me through it all, I can’t put into words how much I love and appreciate you.”
Chicago Sky star Angel Reese expressed her birthday greetings to Gordon, who is also a former collegiate basketball player, in a comment on her Instagram story, where she posted her baby bump.
“happy birthday my love😍,” Reese wrote
The pregnancy announcement came after Gordon and Maxey had split up a few months back, as the two had deleted pictures of themselves together on their social media accounts.
Gordon has yet to reveal the father of her unborn child.
Meanwhile, Maxey has been on a tear this season for the 76ers, putting up 32.1 points, 4.9 rebounds, and 8.3 assists per game as Philly is among the top teams in the Eastern Conference this season.
On the other hand, Reese is coming off her sophomore season in the WNBA, where she recorded 14.7 points and 12.6 rebounds for the Sky.
