I admire many things about the women of the WNBA, and one is their determination to pursue all their dreams and interests. They’re athletes, but they’re also models, influencers, actors, business owners, and more, showing younger girls that “sticking with one career” is a thing of the past.
From vacations abroad, spending time with loved ones, going on press tours, modeling, preparing to play overseas (or in Unrivaled), and more, fans of the league are watching these athletes do it all. If you’ve been wondering what four of the top players have been up to during the offseason, here’s what I found.
2025 WNBA Champ A’ja Wilson is shining on a press tour
When you have three MVP awards (four overall) and three championships within four seasons, your face deserves to be everywhere. A’ja joined NBA legend Bill Russell as the only basketball players in history to achieve this.
Over the past few weeks, I’ve been scrolling through social media and seeing Wilson appear on The Jennifer Hudson Show, The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Good Morning America, and more.
She has a lot to celebrate as the Las Vegas Aces defeated the odds to become the 2025 WNBA Champs. A’ja also brought in another DPOY award (this was the first co-Defensive Player of the Year; Minnesota Lynx’s Alanna Smith won too) and MVP honor.
Angel Reese is dominating the fashion industry
Like Reese said, if there’s one thing she’s going to do, it’s use every moment of her 24 hours. From making history on the court to bringing her influence to the runway, the 23-year-old is not allowing anyone to put her in a box. She was the first professional athlete to walk in the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, which is fitting for someone already named Angel.
The Chicago Sky star also released her first signature shoe with Reebok, The Angel Reese 1, in various colorways that sold out in minutes. In October, Reese made her acting debut in a Netflix film titled A House of Dynamite, in which she appeared as herself.
Caitlin Clark is showing off her golfing skills
Whether it’s a basketball or a golf club in her hand, just know Caitlin will get points. Although she isn’t a professional golfer (she has the talent to be), Clark enjoys dabbling in the sport for fun. Don’t get it twisted, though; she’s still competitively participating in celebrity pro-am tournaments. The Indiana Fever star’s signature Nike shoe is reportedly launching in early 2026, so she’s probably preparing for that as well.
Paige Bueckers is making her acting debut in an Apple Original film
Bueckers had a rookie season to be proud of. Although the Dallas Wings missed the playoffs, the star became the 2025 Rookie of the Year and was the only rookie to start in the All-Star Game in Indy. Off the court, she’s making her acting debut in an Apple Original film, titled Jess & Pearl. Paige will also serve as executive producer of the sports drama. If you take a look at her Instagram, you will see some nice travel images as well.
