The 2024 WNBA All-Star rosters were revealed on Tuesday, July 2 in anticipation of this year’s game.

Exciting newcomers like Caitlin Clark from the Indiana Fever and Angel Reese from the Chicago Sky secured their spots for the first time, joining seasoned WNBA superstars such as A’ja Wilson from the Las Vegas Aces and Breanna Stewart from the New York Liberty, who will be making their sixth appearances.

This year’s All-Star Game follows a similar format to the 2021 Tokyo Olympics, with the USA Basketball Women’s National Team facing off against the remaining WNBA All-Stars selected for the game leading up to the 2024 Paris Olympics. Team USA’s first Olympic matchup is scheduled for Monday, July 29 against Japan.

Fan voting for the All-Star rosters surged significantly, indicating a potential record-breaking viewership for this year’s WNBA All-Star Game.

Last year’s three-point contest was won by Sabrina Ionescu of the Liberty, earning her a spot in the NBA’s three-point contest in February 2024, while the Aces duo of Kelsey Plum and Chelsea Gray clinched victory in the skills challenge in 2023.

Saturday will be dedicated solely to the All-Star Game, with fans attending the All-Star Weekend having the opportunity to enjoy the WNBA Live fan festival throughout the weekend.

The Phoenix Mercury, three-time WNBA champions, are set to host the 2024 WNBA All-Star Weekend. All events, including the contests and the game, will take place at Footprint Center.
