HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. — Joe Gibbs Racing announced that Toyota Development Driver Brent Crews will pilot the No.19 Toyota GR Supra in the NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series for 29 races in 2026.

Crews will make his O’Reilly Series debut at COTA (Circuit of the Americas) with the updated NASCAR eligibility requirements that will allow the 17-year-old driver to compete on road courses and oval tracks 1.25 miles or shorter before his 18th birthday on March 30th. Once 18, Crews will assume the duties behind the wheel of the No. 19 Toyota GR Supra full-time for the remainder of the 2026 season.

With an impressive driving resume, Crews is cruising into year five with Toyota as a development driver. With experience on dirt tracks, ovals, and road courses, the newest O’Reilly Series rookie is looking forward to joining the winningest team in the Series.

“I’m grateful for the opportunity to be able to race with a winning organization and Toyota,” Crews said. “I’ve learned a lot so far with the ARCA program and at the track with the No.19 team. I have a lot to prepare for this season, but I feel confident with all the resources that JGR and Toyota provide to help with an easy transition.”

Claiming multiple “youngest” titles, he was the youngest ever Trans-AM TA2 Series Champion in 2023, and in 2024, and he was the World Series of Asphalt Super Late Model Champion, leading into a series- best three wins and the Rookie of the Year award with the CARS Tour that season. In 2021, Crews became the youngest driver to win a POWRi National Midget Series race at 13 years old. From 2016 to 2021, Crews won 12 national championships in karting.

Crews has experienced seat time with JGR in the ARCA Menards Series (AMS) competition during the 2025 season. After winning his AMS debut at Phoenix in February, the North Carolina native has racked up five victories and six poles within nine starts for JGR across ARCA’s three platforms- National, East, and West. He also drove a part-time schedule in the CRAFTSMAN Truck Series, earning two top-fives and three top-10s, while leading over 100 laps across 10 starts.

“We are excited to have Brent continue his racing career with us this upcoming season,” said Steve de Souza, Executive Vice President of O’Reilly Auto Parts Series and Development for JGR. “He showed a lot of success in our equipment throughout the 2025 ARCA season, and we are confident that he will continue to be a top contender in the O’Reilly Series.”

Crews will be paired with crew chief Seth Chavka. During the 2025 season, Chavka led the No.19 team to three appearances in victory lane and won the Xfinity Series Owners Championship.
