The week was jam-packed with activities, media appearances, and photoshoots where the stars tried out some new AU merch and showed off red-carpet-worthy fits. Here are some of the top moments from the Welcome Week festivities in Nashville.
Welcome Dinner
The weekend featured an official AU Welcome Dinner where players showed out with show-stopping fits. But beyond the photo ops, the dinner gave incoming rookies a chance to connect with AU veterans and get insights about the upcoming season and what to expect from the league’s unique format.
Titans Game Takeover
No football Sunday in Nashville is complete without a trip to Nissan Stadium. The AU Pro Basketball stars spent their afternoon watching the Tennessee Titans host the Los Angeles Chargers after spending time on the field during pregame, chatting with Titans players, and getting an up-close look at the festivities from the sidelines. The trip was complete with a Jumbotron appearance during the game.
Unsupervised with Syd & TP Goes Nashville
Best friends, former WNBA teammates, and long-time AU personalities Sydney Colson and Theresa Plaisance brought their podcast “Unsupervised with Syd & TP” to Music City for a full recording session. The duo, known for their hilarious and off-topic conversations, recorded an episode in Nashville.
Courtside Collective Dinner with Playmaker Nashville
Monday night’s Courtside Collective dinner presented by EY was another highlight of Welcome Week. AU Pro Basketball partnered with Playmakers Nashville, an upcoming nonprofit membership collective designed to advance and empower women working in sports, for red carpet festivities. Players once again brought their A-game with their outfit selections for the evening.
Looking Ahead
AU Pro Basketball returns to Nashville’s Municipal Auditorium for its fifth championship season on February 4, 2026. The season is set for significant growth with full seasons airing on ESPNU and ESPN+ beginning in 2026.
In addition to the stars who visited Nashville for Welcome Week, the 2026 roster features veterans like Tina Charles and Odyssey Sims alongside newcomers and 2025 WNBA Champions Nalyssa Smith, Kierstan Bell, Kiah Stokes, and Bree Hall.
Group and season ticket deposits for the upcoming season are available now.
