After a long wait, the medieval battle simulator and RPG Mount & Blade 2: Bannerlord has received its War Sails expansion, which introduces Nords and naval warfare. Mount & Blade 2: Bannerlord – War Sails Latest Patch Notes – v1.0.1
The latest Mount & Blade 2: Bannerlord – War Sails patch is v1.0.1, which was released on November 26, 2025, right after the single-player expansion’s launch. It dropped along with the Bannerlord v1.3.5 update, which affects the base game as well as War Sails. The patch notes for these two were really slim:
War Sails v1.0.1
Changes
Reduced the speed and HP of Fahda’s ship in the naval storyline (ramming mission).
Fixes
Fixed a bug that allowed parleys with towns to be initiated from sea or rivers – causing a crash.
Bannerlord v1.3.5
Fixes
Shifted a loading operation to after the initial window creation to prevent game unresponsiveness. Fixed a build error to resolve launcher issues that some players experienced.
Crashes
Fixed a crash that occurred when ending a quick talk using the Space button on PC. Fixed a crash that occurred when the target faction was eliminated during a peace vote. Fixed a crash that occurred on the initial loading screen.
