Los Angeles Sparks forward Cameron Brink and Dallas Wings star Paige Bueckers may be playing for different teams in the WNBA, but in the 3-on-3 league Unrivaled, they are teammates on the new club, Breeze BC.
Brink and Bueckers are part of the Breeze roster that also features Golden State Valkyries guard Kate Martin, Sparks forward Rickea Jackson, Indiana Fever guard Aari McDonald and Seattle Storm big Dominique Malonga. They are coached by former Seattle head coach Noelle Quinn.

The team is currently practicing in preparation for the second season of the tournament, which is scheduled to kick off on Jan. 5 in Miami.
By the looks of it, Brink and Bueckers are already excited to get started, especially after what they’ve seen from a teammate.

On Saturday, Breeze BC shared a post on Instagram showing the 6-foot-6 Malonga dunking the ball off assists from Bueckers and Martin. The throwdown off Bueckers was actually a lob, making the whole moment even better.

Brink and Bueckers, for their part, expressed disbelief at what they just witnessed. The two took to their Instagram Stories to share the post and their reactions to it.
“so incredibly tuff,” Brink wrote.
“Like we really throwing lobs,” Bueckers remarked, along with mind-blown emojis to further highlight her amazement.
It will definitely be interesting to see if Malonga will be able to pull off some dunks when the second season of Unrivaled begins, but one thing is certain: Malonga, Bueckers, Brink and the rest of the team have already raised expectations for their performance.
