The Spa-Francorchamps circuit in the picturesque Ardennes region of Belgium is one of F1’s few remaining classic circuits. If you don’t mind braving the elements and doing a lot of walking, the Bronze (General Admission) tickets at the circuit are excellent value. There’s also a good selection of grandstands to choose from at Spa, the majority of which are located close to the start-finish straight and Eau Rouge. Due to the unpredictable weather, choosing a covered grandstand at Spa is recommended if you can afford it.
Alongside increased interest in Formula 1 in general, attendance has been rising at the Belgium Grand Prix in recent years. In 2025, attendance reached a new high of 389,000 fans over three days. As part of circuit improvements, two large new permanent grandstands have recently been completed at the circuit, Gold 2 and Gold 3, which both overlook the famous Eau Rouge and Raidillon corners. The organizers of the Belgian Grand Prix have recently signed a new rotational contract with Formula 1, with the race being held at Spa-Francorchamps in 2025, 2026, 2027, 2029 and 2031. (The race will not be held in 2028 or 2030).

Best Tickets to Buy at the Belgian Grand Prix?
Budget (<€250): As long as you wear comfortable shoes and don’t mind a lot of walking, the views from the Bronze (General Admission) areas at Spa are excellent – though overcrowding can be an issue on race day. If you want a seat for the race, the Combes 1-4 Grandstands are only a little more expensive.
Mid-Range (€250-800): If you want views of the pits and start/finish/podium, then choose Gold 1. Otherwise, there are good views of La Source from Gold 8. The best views of Eau Rouge/Raidillon are in the new permanent Gold 3 grandstand.
Hospitality (>€800): Located in the multi-level Business Tower close to Eau Rouge, Champions Club Business Tower hospitality is recommended for all-inclusive hospitality and great circuit views. The Formula 1 Paddock Club is situated above the pits and offers the best VIP hospitality in Belgium.

F1 Experiences Hospitality Suites at Spa-Francorchamps
In our opinion, the best views from a hospitality suite at the Belgian Grand Prix can be found in the Champions Club Business Tower by F1 Experiences. The building is quite old, and there’s lots of stairs to climb for the best views, but what views they are. Overlooking the old pits complex with Eau Rouge in the distance, these are arguably some of the best circuit views on the entire F1 calendar! As well as all-inclusive meals and open bars, guests also take a tour of the F1 Paddock and enjoy guest appearances by F1 stars.
Nearby, you’ll also find the Champions Club Eau Rouge by F1 Experiences. Offering the best of both worlds, you can watch the action from the Gold 5 grandstand on the inside of Eau Rouge or head inside to the hospitality suite for all-inclusive food and drink. Guest appearances and a tour of the F1 Paddock are also included. Flexible access to the Champions Club Eau Rouge is available for 1-3 days.
The highest-end hospitality at Spa-Francorchamps is found in the Formula 1 Paddock Club above the pits, though we’d argue that the views of the track are better from both Champions Club suites mentioned above. Enjoy gourmet cuisine, premium open bars, daily pit lane walks and more.
Affordable hospitality suites are also located within the newly constructed Gold 2 and Gold 3 grandstands; more information below.
Gold Grandstands at Spa-Francorchamps

Ten grandstands are available in the most expensive Gold category at Spa-Francorchamps, all of which are located between the final Bus Stop chicane and Eau-Rouge/Raidillon. Gold 1 (Pit), Gold 2 (GP2) – pictured above – and Gold 3 (Eau Rouge) are modern, permanent grandstands – Gold 3 is our pick for the best grandstand at Spa-Francorchamps. The remainder of the Gold grandstands are temporary structures. In addition to Gold 3, we also recommend Gold 1 for pits and starting grid views, Gold 8 for the best views of the first corner (La Source), and Gold 6 for views of the last corner (Bus Stop Chicane).
Due to increased demand, new sections have been added to several Gold grandstands in the last few years; these are identified as “TER” or “BIS”. The majority of the Gold grandstands are covered, with the exception of Gold 4, Gold 5, Gold 7 TER, Gold 7 BIS and Gold 9 BIS.
Gold 1 (Pit) – Covered Grandstand
Gold 1 Grandstand Video / Buy 3-day Gold 1 Grandstand Tickets / Hero | Gold 1 Packages (F1 Experiences)
Gold 1 (Pit) is the main, permanent grandstand opposite the pits on the start-finish straight. A good choice for the start/finish and action in the pits. Choose another grandstand if you are after on-track action. Best entry gate: Source.
Gold 2 (GP2) – Covered Grandstand
Gold 2 Grandstand Video / Buy 3-day Gold 2 Grandstand & Gold 2 VIP Lounge Tickets / Ardennes Club | Gold 2 Packages (F1 Experiences)
Gold 2 (GP2) is a large, elevated and newly constructed permanent grandstand situated on the straight section between La Source and Eau Rouge, with direct views of the old pits area, which is still used by the support categories on race weekend. Gold 2 offers decent views of the cars going down the hill to take the iconic Raidillon and Eau Rouge corners. The main Fan Zone is also located very close to the Gold 2 grandstand.
The lowest level of the Gold 2 grandstand is also home to an affordable hospitality suite. Access to the Gold 2 VIP Lounge includes VIP balcony viewing, lunch buffet and gourmet snacks, open bar (beer, wine, soft drinks), VIP parking pass (P15) and access to the support paddock. Packages are available for Sunday, 2-day (Saturday & Sunday) and 3-day (Friday-Sunday) at the 2026 Belgian Grand Prix. Click the link above for more info and pricing. View the Gold 2 VIP Lounge brochure.
F1 Experiences also offers Ardennes Club | Gold 2 Packages, which include a reserved seat in the Gold 2 grandstand plus all-inclusive hospitality (meals, open bar) in a nearby structure. Click the link above for more info and pricing.

Gold 3 (Eau Rouge) – Covered Grandstand
Gold 3 Grandstand Video
Gold 3 (Eau Rouge) is the best grandstand overlooking Eau Rouge/Raidillion, especially since it was totally rebuilt in 2022. This covered grandstand offers excellent elevated views of the famous corner plus the section of track preceding it. Note that you will need a certain level of physical fitness to get to this grandstand from La Source, as it is situated at the top of a steep hill. Recommended. The circuit also offers affordable hospitality in the lowest level of the Gold 3 grandstand. Please note that Gold 3 Grandstand and hospitality tickets are now sold out for 2026.
Gold 4 (Eau Rouge) – Uncovered Grandstand
Gold 4 Grandstand Video
Gold 4 is an uncovered Gold grandstand next to Eau Rouge. It is set back from the track at a strange angle with fairly limited views. Check out our panorama. Pay a bit more for Gold 3 instead.

Gold 5 – Uncovered Grandstand
Gold 5 Grandstand Video / Champions Club | Eau Rouge Hospitality Packages (F1 Experiences)
Gold 5 is a small, uncovered grandstand located on the inside of the track near the famous Raidillon and Eau Rouge corners. Views are decent, but better from the grandstands on the outside of the track (Gold 3, Gold 4 and Fanzone grandstands). Please note that seats in Gold 5 are not sold separately, as they are reserved for guests in the nearby Champions Club | Eau Rouge hospitality space sold by F1 Experiences. 1-Day (Friday), 2-Day (Saturday-Sunday) and 3-Day packages are available. Click the link above for more information & pricing.
Gold 6 (Chicane) – Covered Grandstand
Gold 6 Grandstand Video / Buy 3-Day Gold 6 Grandstand Tickets
Gold 6 (Chicane) is a small covered grandstand on the Bus Stop chicane, close to the pit entry. It’s one of the most expensive grandstands, but you can always expect some action at this point on the circuit over the course of the weekend. Avoid seats in the front rows if possible, as views can be restricted.
Gold 7 (Source) – Covered Grandstand
Gold 7 Grandstand Video / Buy 3-Day Gold 7 Grandstand Tickets / Rising Stars | Gold 7 Packages (F1 Experiences)
Gold 7 (La Source) is located on the exit of the La Source (Turn 1) hairpin and doesn’t have views to compare with Gold 8. Better to choose one of the Eau Rouge grandstands if Gold 8 is already sold out. Please note that Gold 7 is divided into three sections: Gold 7 sits in the middle of Gold 7 TER (down the hill towards Raidillon) and Gold 7 BIS (closer to the La Source hairpin). Max from Norway sat in the Gold 7 TER Grandstand at the 2025 Belgian Grand Prix: read his review

Gold 8 (Source-Start) – Covered Grandstand
Gold 8 Grandstand Video
Gold 8 (La Source) is situated on the La Source (Turn 1) hairpin with views down the start-finish straight. The popularity of this grandstand is evidenced by the fact that it sells out almost one year in advance! If you get the choice in this grandstand, go for block B over block A. Please note that Gold 8 tickets are now sold out for the 2026 Belgian Grand Prix. Ger, Declan & Derek from Ireland sat in the Gold 8 Grandstand at the 2025 Belgian Grand Prix; read their review
Gold 9 (Pole Position) – Covered Grandstand
Gold 9 Grandstand Video / Buy 3-Day Gold 9 BIS Grandstand Tickets
Gold 9 is a smaller, temporary grandstand closer to the opening La Source hairpin on the main start-finish straight. Located in front of the ‘slower’ teams’ pits and with a distant view of La Source for the inevitable action on the first lap. Gold 9 has two sections, the newer of which is called Gold 9 BIS. Please note that Gold 9 tickets are now sold out for the 2026 Belgian Grand Prix, but our supplier still offers Gold 9 BIS tickets.
Gold 11 Premium (Chicane) – Covered Grandstand
Gold 11 Grandstand Video
A relatively new addition to the ticket offer at Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps, Gold 11 (like Gold 6) offers views of the final “Bus Stop” chicane. Sitting perpendicular to the track, Gold 11 also offers views of the cars exiting the chicane and going down the start/finish straight, or heading towards the pit entry. Gold 11 also offers distant views of the podium. The ‘premium’ name in the title gives fans sat in this grandstand a daily ‘lunchbox’ meal. Please note that an area for disabled fans is situated in the front of the Gold 11 Premium grandstand.
Silver Grandstands at Spa-Francorchamps

As the names suggest, Silver grandstands at Spa-Francorchamps are cheaper than the Gold grandstands. Some of the Silver grandstands offer individual bucket seats, whilst others have bleacher style seating. Recommended Silver grandstands include Silver 1, 2 and 5 (between La Source and Eau Rouge) and Silver 4 on the low-speed Bruxelles corner. Silver 3 and Silver 4 are the only covered grandstands in this ticket category (Silver 3 will be newly covered for the 2026 Belgian GP).
Silver 1 (Francorchamps) – Uncovered Grandstand
Silver 1 Grandstand Video / Buy 3-Day Silver 1 Grandstand Tickets
Recently rebuilt, Silver 1 is carved into the hill overlooking the stretch of track between La Source and Eau Rouge (see picture above). Seats are bleacher style with no backs. Silver 1 offers distant views of the opening La Source corner and is close to the pit exit.
Fanzone (Silver 2) – Uncovered Grandstand
Fanzone Grandstand Video / Buy 3-Day Fanzone Grandstand Tickets
Previously known as Silver 2, the Fanzone grandstand is located closer to Eau Rouge, making it a better choice than Silver 1. An excellent mid-range choice at Spa with good access to the best food and drink stalls, merchandise and atmosphere of the F1 fanzone, right behind the grandstand. Please note that Fanzone Grandstand tickets are now sold out for the 2026 Belgian Grand Prix. Mitchell from Australia sat in the Fanzone Grandstand at the 2025 Belgian Grand Prix; read his review.

Silver 3 (Double Gauche) – Covered Grandstand
Silver 3 Grandstand Video
A relatively new addition to the grandstand offer in Belgium, Silver 3 is situated on the inside of the popular Pouhon corner, equidistant between the first and second apexes. It’s a good mid-range choice at Spa and there’s almost always some overtaking action at Pouhon. A fan zone with plenty of food and drink options is situated behind Silver 3.
Silver 4 (Bruxelles) – Covered Grandstand
Silver 4 (Bruxelles) is located at the top of the circuit, a long way from all the others (plus a long way from the fan zone). It overlooks the slow Bruxelles corner, but there’s much better views from the General Admission area on the inside of the corner. Silver 4 has individual seats with backs (like in Gold). Go for the higher row seats so your views aren’t obscured by the catch fencing.
Silver 5 & Silver 6 – Uncovered Grandstands
Silver 6 Grandstand Video
Introduced in 2023, Silver 5 & Silver 6 are located next to Turn 12 (Fagnes), between Pouchon and Blanchimont. The views are not great at this section of the track, and it’s a long way from the main Fanzone. Please note that 2026 tickets are sold by the promoter in Silver 6 which include a pitlane walk on Thursday.
Other Grandstands at Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps

Speed Corner – Uncovered Grandstand
Speed Corner Grandstand Video / Buy 3-Day Speed Corner Tickets
A relatively new addition to the ticket offer at Spa, Speed Corner (pictured above) is a large grandstand situated on the outside of the track between the unnamed Turn 11 (the corner after the low-speed Bruxelles) and Turn 12 (Pouchon, or Double Gauche). Being situated on a straight, the views are not great – though the sensation of speed is impressive as the cars enter the famous double-apex Pouhon corner.
Combes 1,4 (Uncovered) & Combes 2,3 (Covered) Grandstands
Combes 1 Grandstand Video / Buy 3-Day Combes 3 Grandstand Tickets
One of the most affordable grandstand options at Spa-Francorchamps, the four Combes grandstands are located on the outside of the corner with the same name, at the top of the circuit. The Combes grandstands are not well elevated, and are also set back some distance from the circuit, behind the run-off area. The best views are in Combes 1 (which has the best views of the Combes corner) and Combes 4 (which has views of the braking zone into the Bruxelles corner). The less attractive Combes 2 and 3 grandstands are newly covered for the 2026 Belgian Grand Prix. Good value but there are better views at the circuit. The Combes grandstands a long way from the main Fanzone.
Fan Area (Double Gauche) – Uncovered Grandstand
The Fan Area Grandstand is a new addition to the Belgian Grand Prix ticket offer for 2026. It’s situated between the exit of the Pouhon (Double Gauche) and Fagnes corners. When facing the track, the Verstappen grandstand sits to the left (closer to Pouhon) and the Silver 5/6 grandstands sit to the right (closer to Fagnes). Views from this grandstand are not expected to be particularly good; better to choose a more expensive grandstand if you can afford it.
Area 17-27 (Blanchimont) – Uncovered Grandstand
Area 17-27 Grandstand Video / Buy 3-Day Area 17-27 Tickets
The uncovered Area 17-27 grandstand overlooks Turns 15-16 at the southeastern most point of the circuit. As the name suggests, tickets for this area are restricted to fans aged between 17-27. It’s a long way from the rest of the main spectator areas at Spa, but is very much self-contained and also connected with a special camping zone for young fans.
Bronze (General Admission)
Spa Francorchamps has some of the best General Admission areas of any current F1 circuit, but you’ll need a certain level of physical fitness to make the most of its stunning forest location. Many of the walkways are unpaved and there’s serious hills involved, especially around the iconic Eau Rouge section of the circuit. Make sure you wear comfortable shoes and if rain is forecast, a pair of wellies will definitely come in handy. Raj from the USA and Lyndsey from the United Kingdom were in Bronze (General Admission) at the 2025 Belgian Grand Prix; read their reviews and tips

Eau Rouge (Bronze)
Arguably F1’s most famous corner, the elevation change as the cars go up the hill is much more dramatic in reality. With a large concentration of grandstands and excellent general admission views, plus the best merchandise, food and drink close by, Eau Rouge is a great base for the weekend. There’s also an underpass in the middle of the corner to take you to other parts of the circuit.
Raidillon & Kemmel Straight (Bronze)
Raidillon Video / Kemmel Straight Video
Once you have negotiated the steep path up the hill from Eau Rouge, you arrive at the area known as Raidillon. If you are lucky, there’s views of the cars emerging from Eau Rouge at high speed. The general admission area is quite limited here, and you’ll need to wait you turn (or get there very early on Sunday) to catch a glimpse of the cars through the handy ‘photographer’s gaps’ in the catch fencing. Once you get to the Kemmel straight, there’s much more room to find a vantage point on the side of the hill. There’s more fans closer to the Les Combes chicane, where many famous overtakes have happened over the years.
Bruxelles & Ravage (Bronze)
Bruxelles (Bronze) Video
This area at the top of the circuit is a great spot to watch the action. You can get really close to the cars as they take turn 10 at low-speed and it’s an excellent spot for amateur photographers. It’s a small area however and you’ll need to compete for a spot with the regulars who come every year; get there at the crack of dawn if you want to see the race from this area. The panoramic views from the top of the hill at Turn 11 down to Pouchon are also not to be missed.
Please note that for 2026, the circuit is selling new “Bronze Area – Bruxelles” tickets, which cost 275 EUR, 70 EUR more than Bronze. These include entrance to the popular area on the inside of the Bruxelles corner, as well as all other unrestricted Bronze (General Admission) areas at the circuit.

Pouhon, or Double Gauche (Bronze)
This is arguably the most popular general admission area at the circuit, though the addition of new grandstands in recent years have reduced the space available. Nevertheless, there’s still plenty of room on the hillside for several thousand fans to watch the cars approach the tricky Pouhon corner. The food and drink stalls at Pouchon are extensive, and the atmosphere is great. You can walk back to Eau Rouge via a flat, direct forest path in around 15-20 minutes.
Blanchimont & Bus Stop (Bronze)
The Bus Stop chicane is another decent general admission vantage point, but there’s limited space to get great views, unless you fancy climbing a steep embankment. The views are also partially blocked by the Gold 6 covered grandstand. There are no grandstands on the high speed Blanchimont section of the circuit, and the views in general admission are limited to those from the path, which eventually leads below the circuit and emerges near the Les Fagnes area of the circuit, close to Pouchon. The 17-27 area for young fans is located here, but there’s limited track views for everyone else.
