All six clubs played on Friday as Unrivaled’s 2026 regular season came to an end. We now say goodbye to the Lunar Owls and Hive and hello to a weekend that will decide who will make it to the semifinals and head to Brooklyn.

Two of the teams, No. 1-seed Phantom and No. 2-seed Mist, have earned byes and will automatically make the final four, leaving two spots left with four teams playing for them.

Before we dive into the postseason action, let’s recap how the regular season concluded.

Lunar Owls avoid last place with win over Hive

With Hive and Lunar Owls both eliminated, this game was just for fun.

Lunar Owls finished their season with a win, beating Hive 84-71. Marina Mabrey went berserk for the Owls, scoring 33 points and converting on six 3-pointers. Skylar Diggins also had a strong scoring game, scoring 30 points, including the game-winning basket.

For Hive, Kelsey Mitchell had 20 points, with Aziaha James adding 23 points.

Mist maintains momentum against Vinyl

Mist are peaking at the perfect time. They finished the regular season with a 72-62 victory over Vinyl. They enter the playoffs on a four-game winning streak.

Breanna Stewart led the Mist with a game-high 28 points. She also had seven rebounds and three assists in the win. Alanna Smith also had a strong game, scoring 18 points and nine rebounds. Arike Ogunbowale had a quieter night with just 12 points on 4-for-12 shooting, but clearly, her best wasn’t needed for Mist to beat the 5-9 Vinyl.

Rae Burrell had another strong game in this loss. She ended the game with 23 points. Her LA Sparks teammate Dearica Hamby contributed 18 points and nine boards. If they can bring that play back to Los Angeles, then Sparks fans are in for a fun 2026.

Phantom squeaks passed Rose thanks to KP’s scoring show

Rose was constantly within striking distance of Phantom, but was never able to complete the comeback.

Kelsey Plum is a big reason why Rose couldn’t flip this game. She scored a whopping 35 points, including 10 in the fourth to secure the 72-68 win for her Phantom, their seventh in a row.

Kiki Iriafen was a monster in this contest for Phantom as well. She ended the game with 14 points and 14 rebounds.

For Rose, Angel Reese had 17 points and eight rebounds, but with Chelsea Gray struggling offensively and the team shooting 66 percent from the free throw line, they didn’t execute well enough down the stretch to rally and win.

Dom dunks again, but Laces get the dub over Breeze

A rim hates to see Dominique Malonga coming, because the chances are she’s going to bring it down.

Malonga registered here third dunk of the year with Kevin Durant marveling from the sidelines.

Malonga’s style, however, is matched by her substance. She had a team-high 21 points for Breeze along with her 10 rebounds.

Even with Malonga dominating, Laces came out victorious, winning 65-53. Laces got it done thanks to Brittney Sykes scoring 25 points on 10-for-18 shooting. She’s playing not only some of the best basketball in Unrivaled, but it’s some of her best period.

Add Jackie Young and Jordin Canada scoring 13 points each, and that’s how Laces’ guards were able to neutralize Malonga and Breeze’s young stars like Rickea Jackson.

On Saturday, No. 3-seed Laces will play No. 6-seed Vinyl, and No. 5-seed Breeze will take on No. 4-seed Rose. The action starts at 8:30 p.m. ET on truTV, so be sure to watch as two teams get one step closer to the ultimate goal.
