LoLdle is a daily champion-guessing game with five modes: Classic, Quote, Ability, Emoji, and Splash Art.

Each challenge offers a different type of clue, but the idea remains the same — you simply type the champion’s name, use the feedback provided, and narrow it down until you get the right answer.

For example, the LoLdle answer in the screenshot below is clearly a female, ranged support champion that is not chemically altered or human, primarily uses mana, and was released between 2012–2022. After four guesses, the correct answer was Yuumi.

Classic mode is the standard LoLdle mode, where you guess a League champion by name.

After each guess, the game shows a set of attributes that match the correct answer — such as role, region, gender, resource type, range (melee or ranged), and release year. These clues help you narrow down the possibilities until you find the right champion.

Quote mode asks you to identify a specific champion’s voice line.

After a few incorrect guesses, an audio hint will be unlocked to provide more context. The most challenging LoLdle Quote puzzles are usually the ones that include short lines that could easily belong to multiple champions.

Ability mode tests how well you can distinguish different champion ability icons.

Considering that there are over 170 champions in League of Legends and each of them has at least five unique ability icons, this puzzle is probably one of the most challenging modes in LoLdle. Even more tricky, you won’t have animations to help you.

Emoji mode requires you to decode a string of symbols that can point to lore, weapons, elements, or a champion’s personality.

As you make incorrect guesses, the available pool narrows, helping you zero in on the most logical remaining options.

Splash mode zooms in on a small part of a champion’s splash art and asks you to guess which champion it belongs to.

You only see a tiny detail at first (sometimes part of a weapon, armor, or background), so you need to rely on visual memory. It can also use either the base splash art or a skin, which makes it even harder to recognize.

LoLdle is easily one of the best daily challenges for brushing up on your League of Legends knowledge. Even for new players, having different modes to solve every day is enough to make you a master in no time.
