The Chicago Sky faced another setback in their sub-par season when they were defeated 91-76 by last year’s Finalists, the New York Liberty. However, despite the loss, rookie Angel Reese extended her double-double streak to 15 consecutive games, showcasing her potential. In addition, dark horse Chennedy Carter displayed her skills in yet another fixture, proving herself as a valuable asset to the team. Despite her controversial past involving Caitlin Clark, Carter has impressed her head coach Teresa Weatherspoon with her outstanding performance on the court.

In a game against New York, Carter scored a team-high 22 points and added 5 assists in 32 minutes of play, shooting 10 of 21 from the field. Her dedication and passion for the game were evident as she expressed her gratitude for being a part of the team and contributing to something special.

After facing challenges early in her career, including a suspension from the Atlanta Dream, Carter eventually found her place with the Chicago Sky under the guidance of Weatherspoon. Despite her tumultuous journey, the 25-year-old has consistently delivered for her team.
