When Sue Bird, Alex Morgan, Chloe Kim, Simone Manuel, and Jessica Robertson came together to form TOGETHXR, one of their main goals was to shine a brighter light on women’s sports. As fans of women’s sports, you all know that the coverage it receives is lacking. The company’s website boldly states:
WOMEN MAKE UP 44% OF ALL PARTICIPANTS IN SPORT YET ONLY RECEIVE LESS THAN 16% OF SPORTS MEDIA COVERAGE.
The Golden State Valkyries haven’t made their WNBA debut yet, but we can already get familiar with their game as they partner up with TOGETHXR to release an “Everyone Watches Women’s Sports” shirt in their signature color, “Valkyrie Violet.”

The shirt will be available starting on Friday, July 19, at shop.valkyries.com. From Tuesday, July 23, fans can also purchase it at the Team Shop outside Chase Center in San Francisco.
